Our Classic Sonoma County Chardonnay exhibits ripe fruity flavors of pear, crisp green apple, vanilla and toasty caramel. A medium-bodied wine, approximately 70% is barrel-fermented to integrate fruit and oak flavors. Partial malolactic fermentation adds a rich texture and buttery component on the palate. Sonoma County Chardonnay is aged in the barrel for 6-8 months before bottling.

This Chardonnay is perfect for sipping alone or with fish, chicken or lighter pasta dishes. Enjoy lightly chilled - store in a cool place, then place in the refrigerator about a hour before serving.

This is a wine that offers layers of flamboyant flavors on an initial taste while more delicate layers emerge as the wine develops in the glass--aromas and flavors of honeysuckle, Fuji apple, apricot, and exotic flavors of the tropics. The underlying acidity is integrated with warm, toasty oak, and the whole package is tied up with a long, mouth-pleasing finish.

From generation to generation, the Bouzereau family is one of the oldest making wine in Meursault. After graduating in Oenology from the University of Dijon, Philippe started his own affair in 1964. Today he grows vineyards of 16 hectares in the Côte de Beaune, offering wines from some of the most famous wine villages in Burgundy: Meursault, Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Beaune, and Corton - both under his family label, and his highly recognized Chateau de Citeaux.
