This wine has an accentuated personality and results straw gold in color with greenish reflects, intense, fruity perfume with typical hints of this grape variety. On the palate is full, harmonic and with a long finish.

Boasting a nose of great ripeness and freshness, the 2003 Bonnes Mares offers aromas of waxy black fruits and spices. Medium to full-bodied, it resembles liquid silk in both its attack and mid-palate. Luxurious and sensual, this highly expressive wine coats the palate with black cherries and dark raspberries whose effects linger in its tannin-packed, slightly dry finish.

The 2005 Bonnes Mares marries black and red raspberries with fresh- sorbet- and liquer-like aspects alternating on a quite refined, polished, and (for this cru) seemingly less-savage than usual palate. Myriad herbs and spices mingle with the fruit and suggestions of wood smoke, horehound and sassafras emerge along with the sweet raspberries in a lingering finish that administers a considerable lashing of fine tannin and displays a sappy, resinous, faintly peppery cling. This is certainly the alter ego of this year’s cool, floral, tender Amoureuses.

The vines are located entirely in the Chambolle portion of the vineyard that is closest to the village itself, this provides for a slightly more elegant Bonnes-Mares, but one that is heavily scented with violet and peony. The domaine's vines average 29 years old.

In an elegant bouquet of flavors, it thus unites several fine Bordeaux appellations renowned for their white grape varieties. Through its fruit, roundness and complexity, the gifts of generous Nature and the work of human hands, Mouton Cadet White expresses all the richness and diversity of one of the world's foremost winegrowing areas.

A very smooth and full-bodied attack. Ripe fruit (cherry, blackcurrant) is immediately apparent, with powerful tannins. Remarkable overall balance. A generous and pleasant finish, sustained by attractively lingering flavours.

This lower pedigree wine represents undeniable quality/value rapport in 2005. This vintage is so deep in quality among the better run, less heralded estates, that these wines should appeal to readers looking for terrific values from Bordeaux. Most of these wines are Merlot-based and will be drinkable young. Sleeper of the vintage.

The Bourgogne Blanc comes from the Musigny Blanc Grand Cru - a very rare wine of depth, power and concentration. Vines with an average age of 14 years are still considered by the Domaine as too young to be called Grand Cru. As a Bourgogne Blanc it is simply astonishing, with a focus surely not so far away from the definition and clarity that will allow for Grand Cru status once more.

Bright, pale yellow color. The slightly woody, pleasant, delicate nose opens up with notes notes of acacia flowers and fresh hazelnuts. The attack is frank and bold. The finely oaky-vanilla palate and the well-proportioned acidity gives this wine long-lasting scents and flavors, which are quite impressive for this appellation. This 2004 White Burgundy represents good value and can be enjoyed already during a meal or as an apéritif.

A beautiful ruby colour. This wine has pleasant, fresh, red-fruit aromas on the nose, which we find again on the palate. It has a rich and very ripe substance, with fine and round tannins. This is a very well-structured and pleasing wine. Serve at 59°F with pork, grilled red meats and creamy cheeses.
