With a brilliant silver and straw yellow hue, this Chardonnay rises out of the glass with intense apple, ripe pear, and sweet lemon drop scents. They are complimented by toasty oak, spice and butter from barrel and malolactic fermentation. The flavors are bright and juicy with rich ripe apple and pear and a long fresh aftertaste. The texture is silky smooth with a creaminess achieved by hand stirring the lees in barrels during the sur lie aging.

Pale gold in color with a green tinge, the 2006 estate Chardonnay greets the nose with aromas of pear, peach and citrus, as well as some sweet toast. In the mouth, the wine is alive with the vibrant flavors of concentrated fruit, with a hint of toast. A full bodied wine, this Chardonnay shows excellent balance and exhibits a long, crisp finish.
